Duffy Jones, DVM

Dr. Duffy Jones is a passionate practicing veterinarian with a strong focus on creating innovative tech solutions to improve the daily operations of veterinary practices. He founded Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital, growing it from a single-doctor startup to a thriving 14-doctor practice. Dr. Jones firmly believes in the vision of the hospital, stating, "We at Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital believe that we can make a positive difference in people's lives by taking extraordinary care of their pets."

His extensive experience includes starting, growing, and selling veterinary practices. Dr. Jones has held every leadership position at the Georgia Veterinary Medicine Association, including industry council liaison, board member, district director, vice president, president, and treasurer. He has also been highly involved with Veterinary Management Group (VMG), both as a member and as an instructor. Additionally, Dr. Jones has corporate experience, having served as Vice President of Operations for United Veterinary Care for two years.

As a co-founder of dvmSuccess Vet Group, Dr. Jones developed tools like the dvmSuccess Dashboards, providing real-time insights into practice performance, and dvmSuccess Profit Defender, which simplifies pricing for veterinary hospitals. He also helped create dvmSuccess Hospital Metrics, delivering key performance data quickly and efficiently. These innovations played a crucial role in the successful sale of 14 veterinary hospitals by significantly improving their operational performance.

Dr. Jones is also a co-founder of AiLoVet, the only self-funded, veterinarian-run veterinary AI company focused on building simple, effective products that make the veterinary profession easier. AiLoVet's goal is to use AI technology to improve the lives of veterinarians and their patients.

In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Jones is an active mentor to many veterinarians and high school soccer players, coaching at Marist School in Atlanta. He is the author of "The Business Side of Veterinary Medicine: What Veterinary Schools Don’t Teach You."

Dr. Jones lives in Atlanta with his wife, Courtney, their three children, and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Millie.
